The functions of Passport division are:

1. Issuing or changing passports, ID cards, making notes on the validity of the passports for foreign countries,

2. Issuing non-citizenship certificates to the persons permanently residing in the RA or extending the validity of the non-citizenship certificates, making notes on the validity of the certificate for foreign countries,

3. Responding to the requests and applications from state and local self-government bodies, citizens, organizations and other competent authorities.

4. Other functions defined by the legislation of RA.
